Alex Scott's Halloween transformation is incredible
Alex Scott took to Instagram over the weekend to show off her incredible Halloween transformation and she looked almost unrecognisable. Uploading a carousel of snaps, the former professional footballer revealed that her character of choice this year was Tia Dalma from Pirates of the Caribbean.
The former sea goddess of Calypso, Tia Dalma is a witch doctor, fortune teller, and voodoo priestess. Originally played by Naomie Harris in the Disney franchise, the costume is instantly recognisable and Alex Scott did it serious justice.
The 37-year-old donned a near-identical antique, ragged dress; a long wig complete with beaded braids and multiple necklaces but it was her makeup that was perhaps best of all, showcasing an incredible look. Wearing black contact lenses, dramatic smoky eyes and facial "tattoos", Alex can be seen smirking in one of her snaps revealing Tia Dalma's black teeth too.
An instant hit with her followers, fans were quick to comment on just how good Alex's Halloween effort was. One wrote: "Ok, I think you've just won Halloween. 😲 x", while another said: "I can’t believe this is you!" and a third put: "If there’s another Pirates of the Caribbean? Think there’s a role for you!".
Captioning the carousel with a quote Tia Dalma says in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Scott put: "It was a women as changing and harsh and unattainable as the sea" and credited her team for helping her put the look together.
