Aldi's £15 vodka named one of the best in the world

It's official: Aldi makes one of the best vodkas in the world.
The brand's popular Saint Gérmont Premium Vodka, which costs just £14.99 for 70cl, is a contender for the gold prize at the World Vodka Awards 2022 this Friday.
The Premium Vodka is carefully crafted in the heart of France and distilled five times for purity, made using french wheat and crystal clear water from the Charentes region.
The win comes as Aldi brings back a shopper favourite - the raspberry version of the award-winning vodka.
Aldi recently won 'Best Spirits Supermarket 2022' at the People's Choice Awards, and 'Supermarket Own Branded Spirits Range of the Year' at the International Spirits Festival.
In January, it was also hailed as the UK's cheapest supermarket of the year for six of the last 12 months, while Lidl was the cheapest for five, according to a survey from Which?.
But, if you're not much of a vodka fan, don't fret, there are many other cheap supermarket booze wins that you can get your hands on – and Aldi's own brand winning gold is a reminder that you can save your pennies while still enjoying great taste.
