If you’re a pizza eater who strongly believes that pizza and ranch dressing go hand-in-hand, ALDI's newest Mama Cozzi’s pizza is made for you!

I’ve come to love many of ALDI's Mama Cozzi pizza products, including a lot of the frozen pizza varieties, so when I saw that their latest flavor creation was jalapeño chicken bacon ranch, I immediately added it to my cart. As a lover of ranch dressing, I wasn’t disappointed in this impulse purchase.

Mama Cozzi’s new pizza is built on a fluffy pizza crust and topped with a creamy ranch sauce, cheese, and generous pieces of chicken, sliced jalapeño, and crumbled bacon. Like many of ALDI's pizzas, this one is baked at 425°F directly on the oven rack for 18 to 20 minutes.

Tips for Baking ALDI's Mama Cozzi's Jalapeño Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza

After many years of cooking Mama Cozzi's pizzas, I’ve found that my family prefers these pizzas to be baked a few minutes longer than the package suggests so that the cheese gets caramelized and the crust is nice and crispy. I pulled this one out after 22 minutes of baking.

I highly recommend putting a baking sheet or piece of foil on the rack below this pizza as it has a more gooey appeal than other Mama Cozzi's pizzas, and some of the cheese may slide off in the oven and burn on the oven floor.

You’ll also want to let this particular pizza cool for about 10 minutes before slicing and eating to avoid molten ranch sauce and sliding cheese.

Once baked and cooled a bit, this pizza is so good. The combination of creamy sauce and fluffy crust, partnered with the bit of heat from the jalapeños and smokiness from the bacon, is out-of-this-world delicious.

The jalapeño slices are big enough that if you’ve got spice-averse folks in your house, you can easily pull them off. Honestly, I don’t think I’d notice if the chicken wasn’t there, but it is tender and moist even with a longer bake time. While we had this one afternoon for lunch with a bagged salad and it was filling enough for my family of four, next time I’ll grab two to make sure we have plenty.

Personally, I’m looking forward to eating this pizza again with a cold beer and extra ranch dressing on the side. If you’re a ranch die-hard, or you just love a good savory pizza with lots of toppings, grab this ALDI find while you can.
