Aldi's Easter range has landed - these are the best treats to pick up
Easter season has officially kicked off at Aldi, where you'll find plenty of springtime chocolate deliciousness already in stores.
The range starts at just 59p and contains some tasty treats new for 2025.
We've had a sneak peek at the range, and can confirm there are some excellent budget-friendly Easter eggs available, including caramelised biscuit-flavoured mini eggs and even a bubble tea-shaped white chocolate egg.
New for this year are Aldi's Specially Selected Double Indulgence Eggs, available in Salted Blonde & Milk Chocolate Caramel and Milk Chocolate & Hazelnut Chocolate Crème flavours. We tried the Milk Chocolate & Hazelnut version and can confirm the chocolate is thick, delicious and packed with crunchy hazelnuts. They're both available for £9.99 for 300g. These eggs aren't in stores just yet – you'll be able to get your hands on them from 23rd March.
Also brand-new for 2025 is Aldi's Dairyfine Bubble Tea 'eggs'. Made from a white chocolate 'cup' flavoured with mango or strawberry and filled with malty chocolate 'bubbles' and a rock candy 'straw', this fruity egg is a proper treat. While it's one of the sweeter eggs on the market we've tried, it would make a great gift. You can pick this one up for £7.99 for 215g, and it's already on Aldi's shelves.
If you prefer your Easter treats in miniature, look out for Aldi's new Specially Selected Baby Bunny chocolates. They're just 99p for 50g of milk chocolate, are available now and are oh-so cute.
The Specially Selected Dessert Eggs are another mini Easter chocolate new for this year, and are well worth popping in your trolley. These individually wrapped eggs come in two decadent flavours: marbled dark and white chocolate egg with a chocolate ganache filling and a marbled dark and white chocolate egg with a creamy vanilla panna cotta filling. While the vanilla panna cotta is definitely one for those with a sweet tooth, the texture is deliciously pudding-like. A bag of these dessert-inspired eggs costs £2.49 for 150g and they're available in stores now.
Aldi has also launched their own version of last year's viral 'Easter munch mix'. The Dairyfine Easter Munch Mix Tin comes in at £4.99 for 350g and includes toffee flavour popcorn, salted pretzels, mini eggs, milk chocolate beans and milk chocolate coated malt balls. It's a fun way to enjoy sweet treats over the Easter weekend, and it's available in stores from 23rd March.
We also taste-tested some returning items, including the Dairyfine Caramelised Biscuit Filled Mini Eggs, which were made with super sweet white chocolate and finely crushed spiced biscuits – a little crumbly, but great for white chocolate fans.
Also returning for 2025 is the Specially Selected Milk Ripple Egg With Honeycomb & Pretzel – a salty sweet delight that costs just £4.99 for 170g.
