If you're looking to bulk up or simply pop healthier foods in your shopping basket this month, you can do so for mere pennies. This is because Aldi has extended its viral protein range for January - and prices start from just 99p.

Fitness enthusiasts and folks hoping to boost their protein intake might struggle to scope out the best products to help them on their protein journey without breaking the bank.

Social media is sometimes the best place to turn for tips on the most effective but purse-friendly food items, and with searches on TikTok reaching 23million for Aldi's high protein range, it seems the internet is only pointing one way.

The supermarket’s collection now features new additions as well as returning favourites.

Lunch and dinner options

Aldi's new high protein vegan mealtime options include the No Chicken & Black Pepper Sausages (£1.99 240g) and Salt & Pepper No Chicken Kebabs (£1.99, 270g).

Shoppers can warm-up this January with Aldi’s returning shopper favourite — High Protein Noodle Pot (99p, 64g). Bursting with protein and punchy curry-infused flavour, it’s a quick and nutritious “just add boiling water” solution.

For extra-defence against seasonal colds or flu, Aldi’s new Health Immunity Support and Protein Soups (£1.99, 600g) are all low in fat and available in three warming winter flavours — Chicken & Mixed Bean, Broccoli, Pea & Kale (Vegan) as a source of Vitamin A and immune supporting Tomato and Red Pepper containing two of your five a day.

For a sweet yet protein-rich indulgence, Aldi’s Brooklea Protein Yoghurt (75p, 200g) is the perfect choice, offering a rich and creamy taste in an array of flavours — strawberry, peach and passionfruit and raspberry.

Shoppers can also opt for the new Brooklea Protein Chocolate Balls Topper (£1.39, 221g) available in either Vanilla Yoghurt with Milk Chocolate Cereal Balls or Strawberry Yoghurt with White Chocolate Cereal Balls.

This is perfect for an after-dinner treat with 30g of protein in each pot. Sweet-toothed shoppers will also be thrilled to hear Aldi is bringing back Brooklea High Protein White Chocolate Mousse (£1.29, 200g).

Aldi’s popular Dessert Menu Protein Pancakes (£1.99, 160g) can be enjoyed hot or cold, offering the perfect guilt-free treat with 20g of protein per pack.

Also returning to shelves is the popular Brooklea Protein Yoghurt Drink (£1.25, 230g) available in two delicious flavours— Strawberry and Mango. This protein-packed drink is the ideal choice for satisfying sweet cravings while supporting those all-important gains. Another on-the-go option that is high in protein is Aldi’s Brooklea Protein Granola Pot (£1.29, 185g) available in two flavours — Strawberry with Seeded Granola and Vanilla with Berry Granola.

Over a million protein yoghurt pots are expected to fly off shelves in January so you might need to be quick. Aldi’s range of protein products are available in stores now.
