But be warned—it’s seriously spicy.

As a recent college grad, I can safely say I am a ramen connoisseur and expert. I’ve tried my fair share of brands—from the more expensive Momofuku to the $1 packs of Maruchan. And while you can eat the ramen as it comes in the package, I always got creative with my ramen dinners. A little shredded chicken, a boiled egg or two, and some hot sauce always helped elevate the package contents and made me feel like I was getting more for my money.

But my all-time favorite ramen is the Buldak brand, no matter the flavor—and Aldi finally stocks it.

Samyang Buldak Ramen at Aldi

I am an Aldi stan (devoted fan) through and through, so you can imagine how annoying it is to do most of my grocery shopping there only to leave for another store to grab this spicy delight. But now, I won’t have to—at least not this week.

In case you didn’t know, Aldi likes to roll out special deals during the week, and it looks like this week, it’s all about Asian cuisine. Some other highlighted products that have hit shelves are crunchy rice rolls, various sauces to top your food with, the famous Bachan’s Japanese Barbecue Sauce, and plenty of other ramen packages. I’m most excited about the five-pack Buldak Ramen, available in my favorite flavor for $6.49.

Be warned—this ramen is seriously spicy. Due to its extremely spicy nature, the brand has skyrocketed in popularity, leaving some in tears or covered in sweat. Most have shared their experience with the brand online, discussing whether the spice is worth it.

“Buldak is a genuinely good and seriously spicy instant ramen that’s still very cheap,” one user explained in a Reddit post. “Many mass market ‘spicy’ products are very underwhelming so when a brand comes along and every flavor is pretty good with good heat it’s noteworthy. Samyang did a great job getting it available nationwide so give some credit to them too.”

Buldak Ramen is available in Aldi stores Aug. 7-13, or while supplies last. I’ll be running to Aldi to stock up!
