As energy bills soar, it's no surprise air fryers have become a hot commodity for kitchens across the UK.
According to energy company Utilita, on average an air fryer will set you back as little as 17p a day, compared to an electric cooker, which costs around 87p a day.
That's not their only benefit, however. They also use less oil, making your favourite home-cooked meals healthier. They're easier to clean than a traditional cooker, too, given their smaller size and often dishwasher-safe parts.
The home appliance has boomed in popularity this year, with products from Tefal, Tower, Ninja and more consistently selling out. They're so popular, in fact, that research from Samsung UK has shown that four in 10 adults now use an air fryer as an healthier option to deep fry food.
So, what's the most popular dishes? According to the poll, chips take the top spot, followed by potatoes, salmon, meatballs, and finally steak. Sweet treats like cookies and doughnuts have also proven popular to cook in an air fryer for Brits.
