Aimee Lou Wood has gone against the grain, dying her hair an unexpected colour for autumn
OK, so, it may not ∼officially∼ be autumn yet (T-minus 21 days) but seeing as it is September, we're well on our way to getting into the spooky szn spirit. Along with the infamous pumpkin spice latté and cosier fashion choices, many opt for a change in hair colour, too. And within the last month alone, we've seen Khloé Kardashian, Lili Reinhart and Hailey Bieber all sport a darker tone. However, one celebrity who has gone against the grain is Sex Education star, Aimee Lou Wood. Blonde for autumn? Who'd of thought...
Taking to the 79th Venice International Film Festival in Italy, Aimee debuted her brand new hair colour – she has gone from a mocha brunette shade to a much lighter caramel blonde with a blended root. Though it's not the traditional 'darker for autumn' look, we certainly ain't mad about it.
To compare the before and after, first let's reminisce over a few Instagram posts that Aimee shared just a few days ago. Here, she dons the darker brunette hair.
And now, the big reveal. Allow me to present, blonde Aimee:

As dramatic as this change may seem now, in retrospect of her time playing Aimee Gibbs in Sex Education, it's not too unfamiliar for the star. In fact, it was about this time last year that the actor rocked the red hair look as well! Is there anything she cannot do?
