Adrian Cheng, Natalia Vodianova Cohost The Children Ball in Hong Kong
This Friday, Hong Kong entrepreneur Adrian Cheng‘s WEMP Foundation and Natalia Vodianova‘s Naked Heart France joined forces to celebrate its inaugural collaborative charity event that supports children’s mental health around the world.
Themed “A Night of Infinite Hearts,” the ball was hosted at Hong Kong’s Rosewood Hotel, the luxury hotel chain run by Cheng’s sister, Sonia Cheng. Cheng, who wore a Alyx suit, and Vodianova, dazzling in a Giambattista Valli red gown, welcomed guests and celebrities, including Hong Kong’s actor power-couple Carina Lau and Tony Leung, Chinese actress Fan Bingbing, South Korean actor Kong Hyo Jin and former NBA and CBA star Stephon Xavier Marbury.

The evening began with a piano duet and Michelle Kim and Malcolm Mok, as well as a documentary about Ron Szeto, who has special educational needs.
A live auction followed, which was led by Jonathan Crockett, chairman of Phillips Asia and featured works by contemporary artists including Danny Casale, Alicja Kwade and Robert Nava. The amount raised from the event will help support children and families through initiatives in Hong Kong and France.
“The statistics surrounding children’s mental health are a stark reminder of the urgent need for comprehensive support. Our vision at the WEMP Foundation is to provide interventions that address these challenges and create a brighter future for every child,” Cheng said.
“Through our collaboration, we have taken a significant step forward in addressing the implementation of best evidence-based support programs and assisting our youngest generation,” Vodianova said.
Cheng set up the WEMP Foundation in 2022 as Hong Kong’s first nonprofit organization dedicated to the mental well-being of underprivileged children and families.
Vodianova set up the Naked Heart Foundation in 2004 to help eradicate child abandonment in Russia and build accessible play facilities for children of all abilities.
