We've been blessed with a plethora of personal family photos from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their family this year -- from smiling images of the famous five clapping for the NHS outside their Norfolk home, Amner Hall, to family snaps taken by Kate Middleton herself.

In the latest image, a photo which features on the front of the 2020 Cambridge family Christmas card, Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are featured in a new card for the festive season, with the five seated on a bale of hay in front of a pile of chopped wood.

In keeping with the wintery theme, the whole family are wearing their warmest winter jumpers and, true to form, Prince Louis is laughing away in between his parents.

This picture has not been released by Kensington Palace and it is not known when or where it was taken. However, reports suggest that the photograph is fairly recent.

The leaked card is reportedly addressed 'To all the amazing NHS staff,' followed by the message, 'Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year'.

The royals usually send Christmas cards to thank charities and organisations they've worked with throughout the year, so it's fitting for the Cambridges to thank the NHS after such a difficult year battling the coronavirus pandemic.

This is the second time in the last week that we've been treated to new photos of the royal family, as on Friday William and Kate took their children to see a royal pantomime performance at London's Palladium Theatre.

The outing came at the end of a busy week for the Cambridge's as last Sunday (6 December), the duke and duchess embarked on a three day train tour of Scotland, England, and Wales, thanking individuals and organisations that, according to Kensington Palace, 'have gone above and beyond in response to the coronavirus pandemic.'

During the 1,250-mile journey, the Duke and Duchess met frontline workers, teachers, caretakers, and schoolchildren, hearing about how they've handled this difficult year.
