Adorable Furry Robot That Clips Onto Bags Interacts With Strangers

A cute little furry robot aims to bring joy to people with its reactions. Mirumi clings to bag handles like a koala or sloth, nodding and bowing to engage with passersby. Equipped with sensors, it detects taps, movements, and surroundings, responding with playful gestures. Its behaviours include shyly hiding its face, shaking its head, or gazing at people and objects. Mirumi's googly, puppy-like eyes and sloth-like arms make it irresistibly endearing and interactive. Designed by Tokyo-based Yukai Engineering, it debuted at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. Yukai Engineering plans a crowdfunding campaign for Mirumi in mid-2025 following its CES success
