Adele has opened up about everything from motherhood to dating Rich Paul in a new and intimate interview with Rolling Stone magazine. Sitting down for a candid chat about her life in LA, splitting from her husband, dating again, and writing her new album, Adele didn't hold back.

The 33-year-old British-born singer, is currently gearing up for the release of her next studio album – '30' – which will be released next Friday, November 19.

Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, Adele opened up about her life as one of the biggest superstars in the world. Touching upon her heartbreaking divorce and how she felt 'f***ing devastated' when the world found out about, to her dad dying of cancer, raising her son in Los Angeles, and meeting Rich Paul at a party of a mutual friend.

Adele revealed in the candid interview that she attempted dating in LA, but 'only lasted for five seconds' because she wasn't into casual sex and wanted something more. Luckily she didn't have to date for too long, because she soon found love in Rich Paul. At a mutual friend's party, Adele and Rich met on the dance floor while she assumes the DJ was playing a song by Drake. She explained to the publication that the DJ at the party was mostly playing Drake songs, “I was like, ‘You should play something else. I love Drake. But you should play something else.’ "

Before she got with Rich, her friends did try to send her on blind dates, but Adele wasn't sold, "You can’t set me up on a fucking blind date! I’m like, ‘How’s that going to work?’ There’ll be paparazzi outside and someone will call [gossip site] Deuxmoi, or whatever it’s f***ing called! It ain’t happening.”

This comes as the UK (and the rest of the world) gears up for the release of Adele's album next Friday, November 19, as well as the ITV special – An Audience With Adele – which is set to air on Sunday, November 21.

Last week Adele performed a set of songs, old and new, at the London Palladium. With a star-studded audience, the performance was recorded and will air on ITV next weekend before the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here launch show.
