Adele announces ITV concert special to celebrate album launch

Adele will star in an ITV primetime concert special to celebrate the launch of her upcoming album 30.

An Audience With Adele will be recorded at the London Palladium, where the Rolling in the Deep hitmaker will perform new songs from 30 as well as her classic hits in front of a specially-invited audience comprised of her family, friends, "own personal heroes and heroines, fellow musicians, artists, actors, sportsmen, sportswomen and more", according to ITV representatives.

"As one of the world's most in-demand stars, we are beyond thrilled to bring this one-off night to ITV. Adele is a remarkable artist and this will be a very special event," said Katie Rawcliffe, head of entertainment commissioning at ITV, in a statement.

The special will be broadcast on 21 November, two days after Adele releases her eagerly-awaited fourth album. The show is believed to mark the singer's first performance in the U.K. since the conclusion of her 25 tour in June 2017.

The ITV show will air a week after Adele's two-hour special, Adele One Night Only, is broadcast in the U.S. on 14 November. That special will feature her performing both new and old songs as well as sitting down for a conversation with Oprah Winfrey.

The tracklisting for 30 was unveiled earlier this week. The standard album consists of 12 songs, while the deluxe album features three bonus tracks, with song titles including Strangers By Nature, Cry Your Heart Out, Oh My God, Can I Get It, and I Drink Wine. The bonus tracks also feature a collaboration with country singer Chris Stapleton on a new version of her single Easy on Me.

30 will be released on 19 November.
