Abbey Clancy has revealed that husband Peter Crouch is "terrible" at choosing presents – and has shared the worst anniversary and Christmas gifts he bought for her.

The model, 36, said she received a silk floral tree from the former footballer, 40, for their anniversary a couple of years ago.

She told The Sunday Times' Style magazine: "I was, like, ‘How long have we been married?’

"I had wanted this necklace and everyone was, like, ‘Oh it’s a joke and it’ll be in the tree.’ It wasn’t."

"I tried not to hurt his feelings as he’s sensitive," she added. "But he’s also terrible at presents. He got me a three-metre charger for Christmas.”

The couple met at a Liverpool bar in 2006 before marrying in 2011, and celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary last June.

They are share four children – Sophia, 10; Liberty, five; Jonny, three; and Jack, one.

Elsewhere in the interview, to discuss the interior design of their Surrey home, Clancy joked that her other half's involvement in the decor had been minimal.

Clancy teased: "When I met Pete he didn’t even have bedding on his bed. Not even a pillow case. He didn’t think there was anything wrong with that."

Last year, she revealed that their marriage had become strained just before they found out they were going to have a fourth child.

Speaking on the Parenting Hell podcast, she admitted: "We hated each other at that point as well so I don’t even know how I got pregnant to be quite honest."

However, finding out they were expecting was a "gift" that brought them closer together again.
