Once in a while, a beauty product comes along that's just so good, it gains cult status. Usually, we're well acquainted with these must-haves, but when they're overseas, it's hard to get our hands on them.

Step inside a French pharmacy, and no doubt you'll feel like a kid in a candy store - there are lotions and potions galore, sadly, most of which you can't get here in the UK. Until now, that is. Collosol, one of France's favourite brands, has just announced they'll be making their way over to us and we're seriously excited.

Created in the 1950's for actresses who wanted something gentle to remove their make up, Collosol Eau de Lait has remained the secret to French women's glowy skin ever since. A combination of milk and water, the unique, dual, no rinse cleanser is for the face and body (you can use it in your bath), removes makeup, is gentle enough for the most sensitive complexions and leaves your face feeling like velvet. Now please excuse us whilst we go move our micellar water to the back of the bathroom cabinet.

It's no surprise, then, that the cleanser has a long list of celebrity fans including Thandie Newton, Evan Rachel Wood, Clémence Poésy and Vanessa Paradis. Karl Lagerfeld is so obsessed, he admitted to using an entire bottle of the stuff every single day. 'My bathtub is very big, so I use a full bottle of Collosol every day,' he said. We're guessing he bulk buys?

Collosol Eau de Lait (from £9.50 for 100ml) will be available to buy from the 6th February, in store at John Bell & Croydon and online at thefrenchpharmacy.co.

If it's good enough for Karl...
