Chocolate and Champagne are only going to get you so far with your main squeeze. To really light their fire (and yours), don’t overthink it. Instead, lean on the wisdom of your favorite hotel’s concierge.
True, every hotel in the world will be offering some cheesy Valentine’s Day extra tomorrow (typically something involving those aforementioned chocolates and Champagne). But the best hotels go well beyond cliches. Dinner in a cenote, anyone? Or perhaps a cocktail date inside a glacier? A private jet to paradise?

Here’s a look at some of the most decadent and original Valentine’s Day packages on the market.
Jet-Set the Caribbean
Private jets always set the mood. That’s why the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman is working with private jet charter company Wheels Up to whisk couples away.
To start Wheels Up will create personalized flights for a seamless journey to and from Cayman. Once you are on the ground, revel in seven days of barefoot elegance in The Ritz-Carlton Suite. Days will be spent in your private cabana and venturing out to the famous Stingray City to kiss a Cayman stingray for seven years’ good luck, as the locals believe (let’s hope no one gets jealous!). Next, indulge in a $5,000 shopping experience in La Boutique, featuring the latest Dolce & Gabbana collection. At night, you’ll dine at Blue by Eric Ripert and get to take home an autographed cookbook, as well as personalized artwork by local artist Dready, a Valentine’s Day amenity, and a customized amenity worth $500.
Package starts at $90,000, not including flights.
Passion in Mallorca
Love may be patient, but that doesn’t mean you should sit around. Surrounded by sweeping views of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains, the recently opened, family-owned Zafiro Palace Andratx believes that romance should be active. That’s why the hotel is organizing a host of memory-making activities for couples. Start with a private tasting at the eighteenth-century winery Bodegas Ribas (or the world-renowned distillery Bodega Surau, if your sweet prefers something stronger). Once you’re well lubricated, make your own scent in a perfume-making class at Viti Vinci with a professional perfumiest, then set off on a romantic excursion on a llaut, the traditional boat of the Balearic Islands (private DJ included). You’re putting in the work, so it’s only fair that you sleep it off with a four-night stay in the hotel’s top suite (complete with a private pool and dedicated concierge). A lavish floating breakfast will be waiting in the morning, and cosmetic bags from local designer Teixits Vicens are yours to keep. Did we mention the Celebrities Ritual Spa Treatment?
Package starts at $21,000.
Sensational Sleep in Beverly Hills
If it feels like you and your partner just want to lay in bed and cuddle (or whatever it is you do), the Peninsula Beverly Hills’s Ultimate Valentine’s Day Sleepcation is the ticket. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your personal butler and escorted to the Peninsula Villa, where two dozen roses and a bottle of Champagne awaits. Once settled, head up to the rooftop to enjoy a private poolside cabana with lunch for two, followed by a 90-minute couples massage in the villa’s second bedroom. Later, you’ll be chauffeured in a Rolls-Royce to Hästens Mattress’s Flagship Sleep Spa for a sleep consultation. During this relaxing session, an expert will guide you through a sleep spa experience to find the perfect mattress. Once you select your ideal mattress, the bed will be placed in your villa for your night’s stay. But before you nod off, there’s dinner in your villa prepared by the hotel’s Michelin-starred chef, and you can end the night with a chocolate fondue dessert on your candlelit patio. At turndown, you’ll find two Cartier Love Bracelets to take home. In the morning, wake up to a caviar and Champagne breakfast in bed. Best of all, within a few days, your new Hästens mattress and a monogrammed Peninsula Frette sheet set will be delivered to your home. The hotel will also be hosting a Valentine’s-themed afternoon tea with pink heart-shaped pastries and offering an in-room Romance Menu (Champagne, a heart shaped cake, rose petals, and pink bath salts . . . ). There will be a flower cart in the lobby where guests can create their own bouquet, and the property will be hosting a cake-decorating class.
Package starts at $150,000.
Big Apple Bling

The property is teaming up with British jewelry maker Graff to offer the one-night Luxury of Love package. When you and your beloved arrive at the room or suite of your choice, roses, Champagne, a custom note from you, and a suite of gifts from Graff will be displayed. You’ll receive a Graff heart-shaped pendant, a Graff scent diffuser, a Graff chocolate box, and a limited-edition Graff Rizzoli book. In the evening, partake in a three-course dinner at the on-site Majorelle restaurant, then end the stay with a full breakfast the next morning.
Package starts at $5,590.
Grand Gastronomy in DR
Eden Roc Cap Cana is offering a unique experience for couples looking for a gastronomy adventure. Lovebirds will receive two nights at the resort, private airport transfers, daily breakfast, and a romantic turn-down service on the second night. When you tire of lounging on the beach, you can partake in a wine-pairing masterclass and a private cooking class on the beach at La Palapa restaurant. That’s all fairly standard. What stands out here is the opportunity to have a romantic dinner in the hotel’s prized cenote (a cave made from limestone). You’ll dine on a candlelit private deck next to a waterfall, accompanied by a violinist to ensure the ambience is perfect. After dinner, you’ll receive a bouquet of lush red roses to take back to your villa.
Package starts at $7,000.
