Italian-America DJ and producer DJ Anyma was photographed on stage this week wearing a De Bethune DB28XS Steel Wheels. This striking titanium timepiece plays with miniaturization in an artistic way, reducing the dimensions of its components in a highly visual way. It is powered by a hand-wound mechanical movement featuring a self-regulating twin barrel system and silicon escape wheel. If there were a watch to match Anyma’s multidisciplinary artistic genre that blends music, digital art, and technology, this would surely be it! Anyma will be playing at the Sphere in Las Vegas in March if you want to experience his art, and perhaps get a glimpse of his De Bethune! Expect to pay $90,000 for this model.

The Formula 1 legend Lewis Hamilton was filmed on his first day of work at Ferrari this week wearing his brand-new Richard Mille Carbon TPT RM67-02 Italy Edition. His IWC collection will surely be relegated to the safe now, kept for when he retires and is watch-obligation free, although it is hardly a punishment to wear a Richard Mille! His new timepiece is not new, but we would put our money on the fact that he is probably already working on his own model with a racing twist. This model will cost you $200,000 if you have boutique connections, if not, it will cost you around $300,000 in the preloved world.

Former President Joe Biden was photographed during Donald Trump’s inauguration wearing a blue Rolex Datejust in a 41 mm stainless steel case with a smooth bezel and a Jubilee bracelet. Here are some fun facts about this model: At the time of its launch in 1945, the DateJust was the first self-winding, water-resistant chronometer wristwatch to display the date in a window at 3 o’clock. It was also the first watch to feature the magnifying Cyclops date window. Other high-profile VIPs spotted wearing this model include Jennifer Aniston, Bono, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, and Lionel Messi. This model comes with a price tag of $8,600.

O’Leary placed the winning bid of $222,250 (the estimate was $70,000 to $140,000) with all proceeds (including the buyer’s premium) going to benefit the TimeForArt charity that supports contemporary art and artists.
