The rural retreat was primarily made from materials such as glass, Western red cedar, mahogany, and stone and was meant to take inspiration from the natural landscape. For example, you’ll find native New York State bluestone used for the flooring and outdoor terraces. Elsewhere, the chimney and stately fireplace are clad in local zinc. Other highlights include the warm, light-filled great room, which is decked out with soaring 14-foot ceilings and large clerestory windows.
