The 50 cheapest Michelin-starred restaurants have been revealed

For the large majority, a Michelin-starred meal is out of grasp with many of us preferring to hold on to our monthly wages. But according to travel booking platform Traveloka, an award-winning dining experience needn’t come with an eye-watering bill.

The website searched the world for the 50 cheapest Michelin-starred restaurants and it turns out, you can dine for as little as £1.70.

Yes, the cheapest Michelin-starred hotspot goes by the name Liao Fan Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken & Noodle in Singapore. For a mere couple of pounds, diners can enjoy Michelin-approved grub from the former street food stall.

For those of you not planning a trip to Asia anytime soon, the website has also tracked down award-winning nosh in Europe.

For just £12.80, you can enjoy a set lunch menu at L’Antic Moli in Spain while Pertinence in Paris is ranked the 41st most affordable Michelin-starred restaurant.

But what about right here in the UK? The Ninth in London’s Fitzrovia offers up a £21 two-course set lunch menu while The Coach restaurant in Marlow’s most expensive main course will cost diners £16.50.

For US residents, the most credit card-friendly meals can be found on the menu over at Al’s Place in San Francisco for £13.60.
