5 nail trends for summer 2020
After months and months of doing our own nails (with mixed results), we can finally return to a salon and have a professional do it for us. The question is, what do we have done?
In case you find yourself staring at endless rows of colour, we asked top nail brand, ORLY UK, what they predict the most popular summer shades will be.
Here, Lou Stokes, ORLY UK Ambassador, talks us through the nail trends and colours we can expect to see everywhere this summer.
Blues

Metallics
Metallics are set to continue to dominate in the clothes and beauty industry. Everything from rose gold to icy platinum and pearly metallic finishes.

Nudes
As seen at many of the 2020 fashion shows nude nails are always on trend. Experiment by using several nudes to create a nude ombre or use a matte topcoat for a different spin on a classic.

Ombre Gradient manicure
Just one look at social media will tell you that we are still not over the gradient mani trend of a different complimentary shade on every finger. However, this may progress to a more subtle two or three shade gradient with shading on the nails.
