5 booty burning exercises using a resistance band

Want to build a strong set of glutes? You don't need to an expensive gym membership to build a booty - you just need one super handy piece of kit: The resistance band.

You've probably seen these stretchy bands all over your fave Instagram fitness star's feeds, but it really is a piece of kit that's worth the hype (and will give you a booty burn if used correctly).

Resistance bands are a super affordable way to squeeze in a butt workout at home or at the gym - simply pick up a set from Amazon, and follow this routine from Janine George, Group Exercise Ambassador at Third Space London.

For a real booty burn, spend 30 seconds on each move, and repeat three times. Alternatively if you don't have a timer, do 4 sets of 12 reps.

1. Overhead Squats

Be sure to engage your abs.

2. Donkey kicks

Use a full range of motion in your hips, and spend 30 seconds on each leg.

3. Tuck jump and squat

Do two pulses at the bottom of your squat.

4. Glute bridge and abduction

Do three lifts, followed by 6 abduction pulses

5. Side lift and kick-back

Use a soft knee bend when kicking.
