The 47th Annual Outstanding Mother Awards to Honor Leaders in Beauty, Food, Retail and Finance
The 47th annual Outstanding Mother Awards will honor five influential leaders across beauty, agriculture and food, retail and finance on May 8 at 583 Park Avenue in New York.
The National Mother’s Day committee celebrates these women who successfully balance highly influential careers with the daily demands and rewards of motherhood, family and community.

Proceeds from this year’s luncheon will benefit No Kid Hungry, a campaign of Share Our Strength, an organization committed to ending hunger and poverty in the U.S. and around the world.
Hosted by Joanna Coles, chief content officer of The Daily Beast, this year’s Outstanding Mother Awards will recognize the following women for their inspiring dedication to their families, careers and communities.
The honorees are Kecia Steelman, president and chief executive officer of Ulta Beauty; Lori Singer, president of Parlux Ltd.; Lizanne Kindler, executive chair and CEO of KnitWell Group, and Beth Ford, president and CEO of Land O’Lakes and Jill Schurtz, executive director and chief investment officer, Minnesota State Board of Investment. This is the first time in the awards’ history when two mothers who are married to each other (Schurtz and Ford) will be honored.
“We’re thrilled to honor these five women for their incredible accomplishments as mothers and leaders in their respective industries,” said Nance Hastings, chairman of the National Mother’s Day Committee. “We’re excited to celebrate them for their hard wok and commitment while raising funds for No Kid Hungry, which helps ensure every child in America has access to nutritious meals.”
The awards event will also feature a live auction led by Lydia Fenet, CEO and founder of Lydia FenetAgency.
The National Father’s Day/Mother’s Day Council Inc. has donated more than $36 million to deserving family-related charities nationwide.
