My middle school was like this, but much worse — the health office was closed, like, every other hour. One time I was about to throw up in chorus so I went to the nurse's office and it was just closed. "About to vomit" was not under "emergencies," so I just had to go BACK TO CLASS and hope I didn't puke on everyone.

8.Especially when, most of the time, the parents are buying all the supplies needed to make said artwork and schoolwork. Or the teachers are, and you can bet that the school isn't collecting money from parents to give to teachers.

My school also had three or four minutes between class periods, and it still infuriates me. I literally didn't use my locker because there wasn't time to go between classes, so I'd carry all my books and binders around all day. And that whole "go to the bathroom on your own time" thing? How are we supposed to make it to class AND go to the bathroom in three or four minutes, especially when the teacher says, "the bell doesn't dismiss you; I do"?
Can you tell I have pent-up rage about high school?
