Whenever and wherever you went to school, there are some things that will never change. Whether it's the school trips, assemblies or urban legends, there are memories that will stay with us forever.

Bur for those of us in Wales, there are some shared experiences you won't find anywhere else. Whether it's wearing a Dai cap on March 1, belting out absolute Welsh tunes with the school choir, or receiving a tocyn iaith from your teacher.

We look back on 31 school day memories in the 1990s and noughties. And bet that some of them still apply to school kids today.
