Hard on the style, soft on your current account
Getting dressed in summer is easy: few layers necessary, no tired regulations on the wearing of colour, and, most importantly, no ironing (...right? Right?!) More difficult than throwing on a BIG FUN T-shirt and some comfy-but-still-quite-cool shorts however, is finding said T-shirt and shorts. What's more, a single hi-vis graphic does not a summer wardrobe make.
You need sunglasses, too. Trainers. Socks that don't have holes. Maybe even some pool sliders. For while a summer wardrobe is a funner, brighter, easier alternative to the rigid threads of winter, it is a machine of many components. And, during These Unprecedented Times, it's understandable that many guys would prefer to beef up the financial stockpiles rather than blow it all on a pair of very current (but very expensive) hype trainers.
It is not a binary choice, though. Nor is building a summer wardrobe on a budget an impossible feat. That's because we've compiled all the best men's summer clothing for less than £50 here, and we've left no stoner-friendly tie-dye print unturned.
Summer: even easier now, sunshine.
