Hotel puts festive twist on Beef Wellington

An upmarket hotel in Salford has put a festive spin on the traditional Beef Wellington, offering customers a mini Christmas dinner in just one pie.

Fans of turkey and pigs in blankets won't miss out, as they're all encrusted in the pastry along with a serving of stuffing, cranberry sauce and duck.

Dave Ashton, Executive Head Chef at The Lowry Hotel's River Restaurant said, "Beef Wellington is one of my all-time favourite dishes and I wanted to take it even further with our winter menu."
