Heroes help man escape burning SUV

Dramatic police footage shows a group of Good Samaritans desperately trying to free a man trapped in a burning SUV on a Texas motorway.

The car was hit by a wrong-way driver and flipped on its side in Corpus Christi on New Year's Day.

Police officers and civilians worked together to push the burning SUV upright as more and more people rushed in to help a 70-year-old man trapped inside.

Cops say the elderly man would not have survived without the courageous team effort.
