Tottenham shut down Man Utd questions

Mauricio Pochettino was prevented from answering questions about Manchester United at a press conference on Thursday.

The Tottenham boss is the first choice at Old Trafford after the Red Devils appointed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to replace sacked Jose Mourinho until the end of the season.

When the Argentine was probed over a possible move the club's press officer stated that they would not have another press conference "dominated by Man United talk".

Responding to the questions earlier in the week, Pochettino said: "After nearly five years there's a lot of rumours that happen in my position here as a manager at Tottenham and I cannot answer this type of question because this type of rumours happens in this business, in football.

"I always respect a lot the opinion of everyone -- when the people praise me, when they don't agree with me, when they say different things. We know a lot of rumours happen. But it's not my business what happens in another club now."
