1. The Walking Dead - new series - Mondays at 9pm on Fox

The ninth season of this hugely successful post-apocalyptic horror sees Andrew Lincoln reprise his starring role as Rick Grimes. The longest living survivor is now attempting to lead the communities who united to defeat the evil Negan at the end of Season 8. Now the united group of survivors must face obstacles and threats both outside and inside their alliance, with the threat of the mysterious Whisperers looming.

3. The Great British Bake Off - Tuesdays at 8pm on Channel 4

As popular as ever, Bake Off has been drawing audiences of eight million to Channel 4 on Tuesday nights. Paul Hollywood may have been giving out handshakes like confetti this year, but the contestants do appear to be a talented and likeable bunch. 4. England v Croatia - UEFA Nations League - Friday at 8.45pm live on Sky Sports Football

Having got their UEFA Nations League campaign off to a shaky start losing 2-1 to Spain, England will be looking to bounce back as they play their next group game. Captain Harry Kane will no doubt have revenge on his mind when he leads the Three Lions out against Croatia, the side that knocked England out of this summer's FIFA World Cup.

Toni Collette plays a woman grieving the death of her mother when her family become haunted by tragic and disturbing occurrences. Some critics have even gone as far as saying this film pushes the horror movie genre into chilling new terrain.
