Dog survives horrific hit-and-run

A bulldog has survived a hit-and-run in which it was dragged under the front of a car for 200 yards.

The horrific incident in Bradford was caught on CCTV. The driver failed to stop.

The poor pooch's owner, Mick Dooling, 52, rushed his beloved pet, called Winston, to the vet after finding it bleeding from its mouth, legs and under his body.

Amazingly, the dog is already on the road to recovery.

"I was crying my eyes out," he told the Metro. "A bloke pulled up and said 'sorry, your dog's dead'. He's like my son."
