Slug smoking a cigarette spotted in London

A garden slug has been found having an early morning cigarette.

The slimy garden-munching creature was spotted on Friday in Walthamstow, London. The area is a 'hipster' paradise, and some have suggested that it's not all that surprising.

Karen Staughton snapped the photo when the slug appeared to be halfway through its ciggie.

It's not known what brand of cigarette the gastropod mollusc was enjoying.

The discovery follows a similar incident earlier in the year.
