Three street performers were arrested in Rome after they chased and threatened a tourist when he refused to tip them.

The 39-year-old reportedly stopped to take photos of the 'living statues', who appeared to be 'levitating' while sitting on hidden platforms, and walked away without paying a tip.

The Daily Mail reports that three Bangladeshi men were arrested after chasing the Italian tourist down the Via dei Fori Imperiali before threatening him.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the man fled with his mother and reported the incident to police.

One of the street performers arrested was just 17 years old.
