Duchess Kate to take mum Carole on Australia tour to look after Prince George
Kate Middleton has reportedly asked her mum Carole to join her and Princes William and George on their royal tour of Australia next year.
The Duchess of Cambridge wants her mother to help look after her grandson on their trip as their nanny Jessie Webb, 71, is unable to go.
A friend of royal couple told the Daily Mirror: "They don't want just anyone helping out in Australia and think Carole would be perfect.
"William has always admired the close relationship between Carole and Michael and how they've raised their children in such a happy environment. That's what he wants for George, so he and Kate are enlisting their help whenever they can."
According to Entertainmentwise, the couple will undertake a non-stop schedule of events while in Australia but are keen to avoid hiring too many staff as they would like Prince George to have a "normal" upbringing.
