Ever seen a bald baboon? You have now!
A British housewife got a bit of a shock when she came face to face with this bald baboon while she was exploring the African bush in Zimbabwe.
Ann Warner, from Hartlepool, noticed the "naked" baboon as she was touring the Kariba area with friends. She said she got "quite a fright" when she first saw it.
Baboons usually live in troops of up to 250, but this lonely female appeared to be an outcast - possibly because of her strange appearance.
The cause of her baldness is unknown.
"I should imagine it would be difficult for anyone really to say without the baboon being examined by a professional," said Ann, who now lives in Zimbabwe.
Monkeys and apes sometimes lose their hair in rare cases of alopecia, just like humans. The most famous British example is Jambo the hairless chimpanzee, at Twycross Zoo in Leicestershire.
Baboons are not an endangered species, although as their natural habitat is being increasingly developed by humans, they are coming into conflict with people more and more.
