Nude bathers attempt to break world skinny dipping record in North Sea

Around 200 people stripped off this weekend in an attempt to break the world skinny dipping record.

The bathers bared all on the shores of Druridge Bay, Northumberland, before taking the plunge into the chilly North Sea.

As well as an attempt to break the world record, the event raised money for mental health charity Mind, as well as marking the Autumn Equinox.

But, despite their efforts, the skinny dippers were no match for the 413 skinny dippers who stripped at Rhossili Bay in Gower last summer.
