Charles and Camilla enjoy ice-cream and beer on holiday in Devon

Just because you're a royal doesn't mean you can't enjoy ice-cream and beer on holiday - a fact proven by Prince Charles and Camilla this week.

The couple are enjoying a tour of Devon, Cornwall and Somerset to mark the launch of Countryside Week - an initiative to reconnect people with rural areas.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall kicked off the tour in Salcombe to mark the 50th anniversary of the designation of the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Prince and Duchess then headed to Cullompton to visit the Culm Valley Integrated Centre for Health.

Charles will also visit Princetown, on Dartmoor, touring a Duchy farm before attending a celebration of the park's 60th anniversary.

Both royals looked like they were having a fine old time, enjoying a drink at the local pub in Salcombe, an ice-cream at the seafront and a boat trip.
