An unexpected moment for a proud mom was captured by her doorbell camera for her to treasure forever.

Casey was sending son Zion, 20, to school when he did something he never had before.

"My 20-year-old son Zion is on his way to school. I always say ‘Goodbye, I love you,' as he goes. Zion is non-verbal and on the autism spectrum and has never responded to me," Casey explains.

The proud mom said she'd "been waiting 20 years for the moment" and cried happily after shutting the door.

"He has never done this before and I have been waiting 20 years for this! After seeing this video, I shut the door and cried my eyes out," she shared. "I didn't even know the Ring captured this moment until I went to do a live view hours later.”
