The 20 best arm exercises to tone your upper body

There are no shortage of great moves out there to help you get sculpted arms, should toned limbs be one of your workout goals.

I'm an ACSM-certified trainer at FitHouse and SLT, and these are 20 of the arm exercises I love most. Mix them into your workouts, or choose five from the list to create your own arm workout. If you're going down that route, do each move for three-to-four sets of 12 reps, resting as needed between sets. Crank out this routine two-to-three times a week for some amazing arm results.

Time: 15 minutes

Equipment: Dumbbells, medicine ball

Good for: Arms, total body

Instructions: Choose five moves below. For each move, do three-to-four sets of 12 reps, resting for 30 seconds between sets. Then continue to the next move.
