If visiting Asia is on your bucket list then you're in luck because Lonely Planet has revealed its 2018 Best in Asia list – an agenda-setting collection of the continent’s 10 best destinations to visit in the year ahead.
With Asia being the largest continent on Earth, the global travel authority's in-house experts have listed the top countries for every keen traveller to visit – with the 'eclectic' and 'vibrant' Busan in South Korea topping the list as the number one destination in Asia.
Meanwhile, the jewelled architecture and ancient cities of Uzbekistan is in second place; whilst in third comes Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, 'a supercity that somehow keeps getting cooler'.
'Asia is such a vast and diverse continent for anyone dreaming of an escape,' says Lonely Planet’s Asia-Pacific spokesperson, Chris Zeiher. 'Our experts have combed through thousands of recommendations to pick the best destinations to visit over the next 12 months.
