There are many rare dog breeds that we've never heard of, including Otterhounds and Pocket Beagles.

In fact, according to new research conducted by pet food company Webbox Naturals, only 0.3% of Brits have heard of some of the rarest dog breeds. The team profiled 10 adorable dog breeds that are so rare that people thought they didn't exist.

The study found that one in 10 Brits don't believe that Bolognese dogs are in fact a genuine breed, while a further 96% don't believe there is such a thing as a Stabyhoun.
