I've been loving this new era of aesthetic home organization. Having a pretty place for all our "stuff" provides a sense of calm and structure that my ADHD brain appreciates. Of course, some of it is over the top (do we need a designated acrylic container for everything?), and many of the solutions are wildly expensive.

At the other end of the spectrum, they can look cheap or like they belong in a college dorm room. So when I came across these small woven baskets at Dollar Tree, I was delighted. These beauties have given a little lift to how I organize my kitchen (and other parts of my house). At just $1.25 each, they're the perfect blend of function and style, adding a touch of boho-chic to any space while corralling the chaos of everyday life.

I love the look of these natural straw baskets with the white top accent. Their high-end appearance pairs beautifully with my other decor. I first bought one to hold some beauty products, mainly claw clips and hair ties. It looked so pretty on my dresser that I decided to buy more for other areas of my house. I've been using them for a few months now; they suit many of our needs and are sturdy enough to stand up to daily use.

These baskets are great in my kitchen! On my counter, I use one to hold fresh lemons and limes. Lemons should typically be stored in the fridge, but since I reach for them frequently, I keep a handful in a basket out of direct sunlight so they’re at my fingertips. The natural fibers allow air to circulate, keeping them fresh and juicy for a few days as I go through them.

They're also perfect for storing aromatics like garlic, shallots, and smaller onions. I keep them in my basement pantry where it’s cool and dark and the open weave provides just enough ventilation to keep all the alliums happy and healthy. I've designated one for collecting the loose tea bags that used to clutter up my cupboard; another holds rolled-up dishcloths under my kitchen sink; and yet another sits atop our lazy Susan holding easy-to-grab snacks for when we're running out the door.

When I have guests over for barbecues or casual gatherings, I've used them to hold napkins and utensils. It helps guests know where to get their food and instantly elevates the look of our buffet-style setup. I've even lined them with linen napkins to serve slices of fresh bread and biscuits. And this is only the beginning. I can see myself using them for much more, like overflow spices and small root vegetables. I think my dad would also appreciate one for his coffee pods.

With something this fetching, affordable, and convenient, you know I've found other uses for them outside my kitchen and dining room. One sits on my nightstand, keeping my eye mask, phone charger, and current read neatly contained. In my daughter's craft area, they hold everything from buttons to paintbrushes.

I've never been a big fan of Dollar Tree's plastic storage options, but these straw baskets provide a practical and decorative solution that elevates my space—and it will elevate yours, too! So, take a chance on one of these woven baskets the next time you're at Dollar Tree. I'll bet money you find yourself returning for more like I did.
