‘Crazy Blessing’: Former Teammates Become Dads to Boy/Girl Twins on the Same Day in the Same Hospital!

Two former college baseball teammates became fathers on the very same day to their own sets of boy/girl twins!
Chris Blydell and Justin Stanizzi have known each other for more than a decade, having played together on the Framingham State College baseball team, according to NBC Boston and ABC affiliate WCVB-TV.
On July 21, their wives gave birth to separate sets of twins — one boy and one girl each — at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Mass.
All four babies were born less than two hours apart, according to NBC Boston. Both girls were born first, and the boys were born second.
"It was just a crazy blessing for both families," said Blydell, per WCVB-TV.
Neither Chris nor Justin could have ever imagined this would happen when their friendship began nearly a dozen years ago.
The friends first learned about each other’s pregnancies through social media, according to WCVB-TV — and the couples ended up sharing the same doctor.

Still, they had no idea the twins would all arrive on the day day.
"To have made it all the way to 38 weeks and deliver on the same day, the 21st, was incredibly crazy," Michela told the outlet.
In addition to the promise of a lifetime of shared birthday celebrations, the friends are just happy that their special bond has continued throughout the years.
As Blydell said, words don't begin to describe what it feels like to be able to "celebrate the best day of our lives together."
