Kelly Smith says her son Jason got a “shorter cut” than usual at the barbers so that he could go longer between visits.
Since the Duchess of Cambridge married Prince William, and subsequently joined the Royal Family, eight years ago, she’s learnt to master the art of dressing appropriately for every occasion. The attention to detail in her outfit planning, from the designer’s nationality to the length of the skirt, is considerable - and always complimented perfectly by her hairstyles. The handiwork of her hairdresser, Amanda Cook Tucker, Kate’s hairdos tend to be big news. A chic chignon will often make headlines and even the news that the mum-of-three’s had a few inches chopped off can land a national newspaper’s front page. Tucker has worked with the 38-year-old since the 2012 Diamond Jubilee tour of South East Asia. While Chelsea’s Richard Ward is responsible for Kate’s colour, it’s Tucker that styles and teases the Duchess’ hair into iconic updos and *that* flawless blow-dry for events and engagements. Kate’s trust in Tucker isn’t misplaced: the Duchess’ has become quite the hair muse. While her romantic wedding hairstyle might have gone against tradition, it sparked a huge increase in half-up, half-down looks for brides globally. And we hazard a guess that desire to copy Kate’s hairstyles hasn’t lessened. From relaxed ponytails to elegant side buns, her hairstyle portfolio boasts looks we can all copy - whatever the occasion.
The Duke of Cambridge recently admitted that he struggles with Princess Charlotte's ponytail.
Since becoming a duchess in May, Meghan Markle has become a valued member of the royal family. She's been put straight to work, attending her fair share of public engagements and helping the queen with some of her duties, but she's also had a fashion and beauty update. Sadly, it looks like it could be the end of an era for the Duchess of Sussex's prewedding messy buns. Instead, she seems to have been taking tips from her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, and embraced the polished bun instead. Only time will tell if she'll ever use the royal-approved hairnet. Ahead, get a look at how Markle's hair has evolved from relatable messy buns to elegant bun updos since becoming a duchess.
Over the years, the 8-year-old experimented with various looks, having stars, stripes, and zigzags shaved into her hair with no complaints from the school — until now.

Macaulay Culkin was spotted out and about with 29-year-old actress (and rumoured girlfriend) Brenda Song at Craig’s in Los Angeles on Sunday evening, and although the 36-year-old appeared a bit shy in front of the cameras, he looked a good 10 years younger with his new haircut. The “Home Alone” star has keep his natural blonde locks long and unruly throughout the years, so the fresh cut allowed cameras to get the first good look at Culkin’s face in a long time. The former child star was also seen picking up cigarettes as a gas station on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood on Monday — a tad less camera shy on this occasion, and we get a better look at Culkin’s youthful features before he heads back to a car waiting outside. In fact, it’s even easy to match a hairstyle to a name. The participants repeatedly “beat the odds of correctly identifying a person’s name based on their facial appearance alone.” Which means, when looking at a face and considering a group of names such as Jacob, Dan, Josef, and Nathaniel, they correctly chose “Dan” 38 percent of the time, which is way above the 25 percent chance (since there were four names) of a random guess. It gets even crazier: Researchers also found that observers beat the odds of correctly guessing a person’s name even when they were allowed to see only his or her hairstyle.
