The lifestyle brand has come under fire for claiming that the vaginal eggs can balance hormones and regulate menstrual cycles.
Often coming under fire for dubious health claims, Paltrow has announced Goop will be hiring a full time fact checker.
Gwyneth Paltrow — she of the unattainable lifestyle goals — has upped the Goop factor in the Valentine’s Day gift guide featured in her latest newsletter. In Paltrow’s world, a stay at Babington House, a lavish hotel and spa in Somerset, England, is just what the love doctor ordered. Or how about a pair of gold-plated dumbbells: $125,000.
It’s hard to have missed Gwyneth Paltrow’s endeavours in the world of lifestyle, whether its her famous vagina steaming, aerial yoga or fermented vegetable recipes. One of my personal favorite holiday traditions is the annual GOOP gift guide, curated by Gwyneth Paltrow and her team of cashmere legging-wearing GOOPers. I have never purchased anything from any of these, but I, like many readers of the lifestyle newsletter, voraciously pour through the guides in an attempt to get a glimpse at the blonde Hollywood mogul’s psyche. I imagine them as a Year in Review guide to Paltrow, in fact. This year’s guides dropped today, just in time for afternoon procrastination. “Whether you want to spend $8 or $8,000, we’ve rounded up some of the most stunning and appealing gift options around — each and every item (a leather travel journal, monogrammed pajamas, an Hermes iWatch, a trip to the moon…) is something we’d love to give or receive,” says the GOOP.While I hope you peruse these guides fully with a mug of mulled wine later this week, here are eight of the most Gwynnie gifts to get you started:Related:Beauty Advent Calendars for Christmas are Better Than ChocolateGwyneth Paltrow Opens Up About Divorce, Custody, & New Beauty Line at BlogHer ConferenceA Defense of Gwyneth’s $21,000-a-Month Beauty Habit (Kind of)
