Khloe Kardashian announces new addition with sweet snaps: 'Welcome to the family'
Khloe Kardashian has shared some adorable new photographs of her latest family addition. The reality TV star announced she's welcomed a new family member following daughter True's sixth birthday.
Mum-of-two Khloe, 39, who shares True, six, and son Tatum, one, with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson, revealed her daughter asked for a second pet cat as her birthday present. The family already have a cat, named Grey Kitty, but Khloe gave in and welcomed a second, despite "never in a million years" thinking she would do so.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star shared photos of True's new cat, named Baby Kitty, on Instagram. She said the six year old is "a great kitty mummy" but insisted two cats is her "maximum".
"Welcome to the family Baby Kitty," Khloe wrote. "All True wanted for her six birthday was another kitty. She is such a great kitty mommy to Grey Kitty. I know she will be just as wonderful to Baby Kitty."
She went on to reveal she was reluctant to add another cat to her family. Khloe continued: "Never in a million years did I think I would have one cat let alone two. But here we are and I love them. I love how much my kids love them as well.
"But this is my maximum for cats. Two is enough. Anyways, welcome Baby Kitty to the family. I’m sure Grey Kitty will be so happy to have a friend."
Fans flocked to gush over Baby Kitty, with one saying: "Awwww what a beautiful little blessing she is!! such a precious little soul." A second penned: "You can never have too many kitties."
Khloe shares two children with 32 year old pro basketball player Tristan, who she has since split with. The pair first got together in 2016 but split in 2019 after Tristan became embroiled in the Jordyn Woods cheating scandal.
Khloe and the NBA star got back together during the Covid-19 lockdowns of 2020 but broke up once again a year later after it emerged Tristan had been unfaithful and fathered a child with model Maralee Nichols while their surrogate was pregnant with son Tatum.
Despite she and Tristan being amicable and co-parenting their children, Khloe has previously made it clear there's no going back following the basketball player's unfaithfulness.
And in a teaser for season 4 of The Kardashians, Khloe is shown having dinner with her close friend Malika Haqq, who says: “Maybe you might want to try to save your family.” She responded: “If someone did to my daughter what Tristan did (to me), I would probably castrate them... and smile doing it.”
