Inside Beat the Chasers star Mark Labbett's home he shares with adorable golden retriever
Mark Labbett has become a regular on our TV screens, thanks to his role on The Chase. The star, known as The Beast, is one of the notorious Chasers on the hit ITV quiz show and has become known for his hilarious comebacks and impressive intelligence.
Mark, 58, joined the show back in 2009 and it has helped propel him to stardom. He's even starred on the US and Australian editions of The Chase, and joined the cast of American quiz show Master Minds in 2023.
When he's not showing off his incredible quizzing skills, Mark can be found at his cosy home in Rotherham. The TV star resides in a lovely property with his adorable golden retriever, Baloo.
Mark has given fans a sneak peek inside his cosy abode on a number of occasions. He previously appeared on ITV's This Morning via video link, showing off his spacious kitchen, which boasts cream cupboards and plenty of room for cooking.
Over on Instagram, Mark has shown fans inside his bedroom. The space features minimal décor and white furnishings.
He also has a quirky lounge, which features brown wooden décor and leather sofas. It looks to make the perfect relaxation spot, complete with dim lighting and large windows overlooking the garden.
Mark now lives alone with his pet dog following his split from wife Katie in 2020. The quizzer was previously married to his second cousin Katie, and they share a son named Lawrence. They ended their marriage and Katie moved on with new boyfriend Scott.
However, it was revealed last year Mark has found love again. The Chaser is now in a relationship with TV presenter Hayley Palmer and the pair seem very loved-up. They made their relationship public in May 2023 after being spotted enjoying a sunny day at the beach in Southsea, Portsmouth.
When asked about potentially moving to London from Rotherham, Mark said: "I would unashamedly say that if I was to move to London it would be with a strong view to Hayley moving in with me. There's no way I would check out a flat without her being there with me."
Katie recently opened up about her romance with Mark on Good Morning Britain during a debate about flirting. She said: "Mark is always very respectful of me in front of other people. He makes sure that I’m OK, he’s a very kind person, he makes me feel really good about myself, and that’s why it’s a really lovely, respectful relationship.”
