Zoe Sugg welcomes first child
YouTube star Zoe Sugg has become a first-time mum.
The 31-year-old, also known by her original YouTube name Zoella, revealed on Instagram on Tuesday that she and her boyfriend, fellow vlogger Alfie Deyes, had welcomed a girl named Ottilie Rue on Sunday.
Besides a close-up picture of the newborn laying on a blanket wearing a turquoise baby grow and burnt orange hairband, she simply wrote, "She’s here! Meet Ottilie Rue Deyes (heart emojis) 29/08/21."
Alfie shared a wider shot of the same set-up, showing the tot laying in a basket and added a similar caption.
Zoe's brother, fellow vlogger and Strictly Come Dancing finalist Joe Sugg, shared the post on his Instagram Stories and added a series of love hearts before writing, "So excited and happy! Congrats @zoesugg @alfiedeyes."
Zoe also received congratulatory messages in the comments from the likes of Strictly's Oti Mabuse, Stacey Solomon, The Great British Bake Off's Candice Brown, Made in Chelsea's Louise Thompson, singer Frankie Bridge, and fellow vlogger Tanya Burr.
"So so happy for you both, she's beautiful and can't wait to meet her," the beauty blogger commented.
Zoe and Alfie have been in a relationship since October 2012, although she didn't make the news public until August 2013. They announced they were expecting their first child in March.
