Zoe Saldana, 43, 'Grams Her Core And Legs In A Brand New Workout Video On IG

Zoe Saldana is not messing around when it comes to getting her January workouts in.

In her most recent post, the 43-year-old actress said: 'An example of one of my workouts focusing on functional strength and movement. Doing workouts that get my neuromuscular system to activate has helped my body to work even more efficiently. Nothing better than feeling strong! Thank you @risemovement and @imankarram! Day 4!!!'

Zoe's followers were extra supportive of her with one fan saying, 'Get it!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.' Another chimed, 'Trying this workout tomorrow 🙌👏.'

It looks like Zoe's motivation is contagious. The Guardians of the Galaxy star is no stranger to squeezing in a workout here and there even with a super busy schedule.

In 2017, she told Shape, '...when I'm shooting, I really don't like to be strict with my workout, since I'm already putting in 16-hour days. So I do 20-minute intervals either at the gym or at home, where I run in place for 30 seconds, then do squats, then carry a heavy medicine ball a few times in a row until I get my heart rate up.'

And as for her go-to meals, Zoe revealed in an interview with Bon Appetit that she and her family are 80% gluten-free. She often eats gluten-free pizza with cherry tomatoes, rocket, and mushrooms. But aside from that, Zoe typically sticks to fresh meats like organic turkey breasts and grilled fish.

Cutting out food groups is never advisable unless done on the advice of a professional such as a dietitian. If you think you may have a food intolerance, speak with your GP or seek help via a dietitian.

One thing she's committed to is staying anti-diet. In a 2015 post on Facebook, Zoe said, 'I am going to remove the word 'diet' from my life. I am going to remind myself that it is not about losing weight, it is about being healthy, feeling healthy, for the rest of my life...'
