Zoe Ball shares a peek at her impressive garden pumpkin patch
Zoe Ball shared a sneak peek of her impressive gardening skills on Instagram, by posting photos of a selection of her home-grown pumpkins.
The radio DJ shared snaps of a range of pumpkins at various stages of growth, from green to nearly completely orange and ready for the Halloween season to begin.
In a caption alongside the images, Zoe wrote, “being veg patch novices we didn't plan our planting that well so only spuds, celery & pumpkins left from the patch but loving these orange beauts.”
Three weeks ago, the star shared a first glimpse of the pumpkins just starting to grow nicely.
As well as her autumnal success with the pumpkins, Zoe has planted a number of vegetables in her garden plot this year and has shared her efforts on social media. This included a full basket of harvested salad leaves and vegetables which looked fresh and ready to eat.
The keen gardener has been part of both the Virtual Chelsea Flower Show this year (which took place in May to fill in for the postponed event), and the regular Chelsea Flower Show, which took place in September for the first time in the events over 100 year history.
Zoe took her dad with her as a guest to the Chelsea Flower Show and shared sweet photos of the pair enjoying the event together online, alongside snaps with Strictly’s Craig Revel Horwood, X Factor’s Alexandra Burke and BBC's Carol Kirkwood.
While at the 2021 show, Zoe Ball also chatted with gardening legend Monty Don about one of the gold-winning gardens at the show.
