Zoe Ball has shared an update from her garden vegetable patch which has had a seasonal make-over.

The Radio DJ and gardening fan posted a selection of photos from her garden, including one of an impressive orange pumpkin taking pride of place and which appears to be growing nicely.

Zoe also shared a selection of pink and white flowers in bloom, including a stunning sunset orange dahlia and more autumn vegetables. The fourth image on the post revealed a wide selection of smaller pots, including neatly organised and labelled herbs.

The star is an avid gardener and regularly shares updates on her plants, flowers and crops on her Instagram page. Earlier this year, Zoe posted evidence of the first haul from her vegetable patch displayed in a gorgeous garden trug, including home-grown broccoli and plenty of leafy greens.

Zoe and the BBC Radio 2 team have also joined forces with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) for the Big Bee Challenge. The three-year project is designed to raise awareness and help conservation efforts for bees and included a garden design competition.

Children were invited to submit designs for a bee-friendly garden and Zoe recently shared the winning garden which had been built based on the winning design by Izabella Zogaj.

As well as the bee project, Zoe has also also worked with the RHS as part of this year’s Virtual Chelsea Flower Show, after the event was once again postponed due to restrictions around the pandemic.

The Chelsea Flower Show 2021 will take place in September, a first the historically May-based event.
